Ækvator Akvavit is a soft and mild aquavit aged in oak barrels that previously contained Madeira. During the maturation, the Madeira casks crossed the equator on its journey from Copenhagen to Cape Town and back. Temperature changes and the ships movements during the trip have a maturing and softening effect on the aquavit.
A refreshing Scandinavian riff on the Classic Daiquiri. Perfectly balanced and extremely pleasant.
