Lady Luck

This is an original Oskar Davidsen cocktail recipe that we are quite proud to present. It’s safe to say that we think it is really good. Refreshing, fruity, thirst quenching and quite simple. Absolutely perfect for a hot summer’s day or to be enjoyed in the wintertime to remind you of the warmth. In other words, this is genuinely an enjoyable cocktail to be had at any time of the year. There are some parallels to the classic Mojito because in contains both lime, sugar, and fresh mint, however, this is a different type of drink. A Mojito is packed with ice, lime pieces and mint leaves, whereas the Lady Luck is served as a regular cocktail on the rocks. The recipe for this amazing drink is as follows:

Ingredients

Garnish:

  • Fresh mint leaves

How to make

  1. Shake all ingredients well (Including fresh mint leaves) with ice
  2. Fine strain to rocks glass with fresh ice

It is important that you fine strain this cocktail, as you will otherwise end up with small pieces of mint that are not very pleasant to drink. When garnishing with the fresh mint it is recommendable to give the leaves a light clap, as this will release some of their fragrance and make this an absolutely irresistible drink that smells heavenly. No straw needed. The fruitiness and sweetness of The ·O·D·D· Gin Genuine Pink interplays wonderfully with the sour, tartness of the lime and the mint brings some extra freshness that elevates the drink to a whole other level. If your friends aren’t into gin, start by serving them this and they will soon change their minds. It is also possible to make this cocktail with The ·O·D·D· Gin Original Dry, but it will be a quite different drink, at it will have less fruitiness and more Juniper and that gin back bone. It is still a delicious serve that we can highly recommend.
